Ok I will share few of my degen stories from few years ago when I was in Las Vegas.

1.

I was leaving the Monte Carlo poker room at ~ 1 am after I lost $60 which was all the cash I had to my name in a 2-4 limit game, I find 3 coins in my pocket, 2 qurters and a dime. I put two quarters in some slot machine and win 100 credits ($25). Went back to the poker room to "run it up", and the second hand in I won ~50$ pot with 10 10 making quads and hit their High hand jackpot, for like $340, moved to the 4-8tabe, and played till 10 am and left the poker room with aroud $550.
Went to play a little bit in the pit, went on a rush, and at around 5pm had about $2.2k. Went to get a dinner and told myself after my meal no more gambling and and that I was going back to my place a happy man. Didn't make it of the casino. On my way out decided to play a little more, and ended up loosing everything I had by 11pm. I left the casino with 12 cents to my name.

I had $50 left and was steaming after loosing $250 on the BJ table at the Imperial Palace, went to the 3 card poker table, on my second $25 bet I hit a straight flush for $1000.Ater that went to Harras casino, and lost it all but $25 on the BJ table in 1 hour. On my way ot of the casino I sat down to play 25c video poker with my last $20 and hit a royal on my third hand for $1000. Sweet, justice!! Went back to the same BJ table ($25 minimum) and went on a nice heater winning around $3000. Left Harras casino with almost $4k and decided to go back to my room at the IP. Didn't make it to my room tho, lost all the money in the IP in about 6 hours, and went back to my room with $7 and change.

Around 6 am at Bellagio I was playing $5 video poker machine stuck ~ $2.5k and had about $300 left in the machine, a friend came up to me (even bigger degen) and after I told him how much I was down, he was like cash out dude, better play some craps. So I cashed out $250 and we went to a craps table. It was my first time playing craps, and in about two hours I ran that $250 into $2.5k on that table. Gave the guy $250, of which he lost $200 in less than 2 minutes on the BJ table immediately, and I invited him to eat at Mirage buffet. After we ate, we went to the tables at the Mirage,played craps ad BJ and lost almost everything I had in the next couple of hours.
I had around $60 left, we decided to put $50 each and go to bet on the horses, it was his idea, he told me there were good races that day, he was a huge horse betting degen btw. I didn't know a lick about horse betting. So he makes some bets, and on the third race he bet $12 or $24 I don't remember, to hit superfecta,and we won $12k, split the money celebrated with few drinks I decided it was time to go home.

On my way home ( I lived near Stardust at that time), I decided to get some sushi at the Stardust, after the meal I though it was a good idea to go inside the casino, to play video poker for 20-30 minutes, and drink a beer and go to sleep after that.
Lost $200 in 20 minutes on the $1 video poker machine, got tilted that I just spent $201 an a ****ing beer and went to get that money back at the BJ table. That didn't go very well and I lost everything but $125 dollars in the next 5 hours, in a ****ing Stardust, a ****ing Stardust maaan.
Few days later i met the guy we won 12k with, he was busto and told me he lost all the $6k in about two hours at the Mirage, playing BJ and betting horses.

Nothing to do, so here are two more.

1. Las vegas

I was busto and walked from Stardust to Klondike Casino (a dump not far from the famous Las vegas sign) with $5 to my name, to eat at their cafe. It's a pretty long walk, but they had a promo "free dinner if you buy any beverage" wich cost like $1.25. So after I was done with the meal, I had $2.75 left, quickly lost 3 quarters in the 25c video poker, and decided to put my last $2 into 5c video poker machine "to reduce variance" lol. Immediatelly I start hitting trips, boats etc, and run it up to like $13, cash out and headed to a BJ table. Make a $3 bet and win, next hand bet $4 and lost. Say **** the BJ, cash out and decide to keep the $2 for the bus to go back, and put the $10 in the "penny train" machine wich had progressive jackpots, three or four different levels with the lowest ~$20 and the highest a little over $1000. So I hit some decent payouts and then hit the bonus feature, win like $30 in the bonus and cash out $50 happy as a mother****a. Walk out of the Casino and see the bus leaving the bus stop, got pissed and went back to the casino to play the same machine. Lost $10 then, put "last $20" and hit the progressive flash jackpot, and get the top bonus for $1100 and change.

Left the casino the happiest man on the planet and decided to go to the mall to buy some clothes and something nice for myself. I though it was a good idea to go to the mall in that part of the town, don't remember what it was called, but I knew I had to take a bus and go till the last stop (bus terminal), and had to take a shuttle that would take me to the mall. Arrived at the bus terminal, and was told that the shuttle should come in 20 minutes. To kill time I started playing video poker, that was a bad idea. I went on a total monkey tilt, started sticking hundred after hundred in that ****ing machine, and probably missed like 10 shuttles to the mall. Don't know exacly how much time I spent in that ****ing bus terminal ~4-6 hours, but I left that ****ing place with $20.

2.

Around 7 years ago, I went to Prague for 6 days with my mom. The second day I walked in in some small casino, don't even remember if they had table games there, I think it mostly had machines, slots, electronic roulette etc. I started playing some dice game, big machine, with 3 dice falling in the middle under plastic dome, not sure but I think the game is called sic-bo. Put 500Kc note in the machine ~ $20, went on a rush and won around ~$300.

My last day I had ~ $100 left and was walking around, and some black dude , promoter of a strip club aproached me telling me how awesome the strip club is and offered some weed. Hmm,strip club and weed sounded like a great idea, bought a small bag and headed for the strip club.

The strip club was more like a whore house, basically there were some strippers dancing on stages and most of the stripers just walking, aproaching guys offering sex. So this hot chick comes up starts chatting and tells me we can go upstairs and it will cost me $100. I got super horny after watching them strippers, but I only had around $60 left at that point after buying weed and paying a cover charge. I told her I will be back in less then an hour with the money, and literally ran to the casino to win some money on the dice machine.

I started playing and ran super hot,put $20 in the machine, won ~$60 pretty quikly and had enough to pay the stripper and even get some drinks, and almost cashed out, almost! Then I though it would be a good idea to try to make another $100 to get two girls for thresome. Kept playing, winning all the bets, I just couldn't ****ing lose. At the peak I had around $900 in the machine, and kinda forgot the reason I came to this place lol, but I just couldn't stop. Of course my luck stoped and I lost everything I had in the machine, and left the place with $40 but still very horny,so I ended up getting a BJ from bulgarian hooker in a street toilet for $20, instead of a threesome with hot stripers

Luckboxxx - great stories - you may me my long lost brother from a different mother. Your stories sound so much like some of mine although most of mine took place over 7-8 years ago. I found that a high maintainence wife, a kid and hard as nails military in-laws have checked my degen nature for the most part.

Brag: I had a big score a few years back on a case (I'm a lawyer) and immediately rounded up 5-6 of the boys and went to Vegas for large living. Got a room at the Venetian and before we went out the 1st nite I emptied a brief case with $50k in hundreds on the coffee table. I had no intention of putting that much in play at any time - I was fronting $10k to my brother and $5k to a friend - the rest was for show. I just wanted to shock everyone and do it for effect. It went over great with everyone and a few photos were taken. I was really never down more than a couple thousand on the trip and actually was a winner for the weekend.

Beat: My wife found the photos (wife who thinks a trip to Vegas BR is "about $800") and the **** hit the fan. I would have been better off if she had found photos of me with a couple of tranny hookers. The next thing I know I was having an intervention about my gambling "problem" with her mother, brother, sister, and 3 star general dad. Although the intervention didn't mean **** to me, that event coupled with having a kid was basically the culmination of my degen life. I now play tiny online sngs and hit the Indian casinos a couples time a month for some cash games and hit Vegas about once a month but haven't produced any good degen stories in a while. I feel something coming on though . . .

put 50$ on betandwin.com three years ago. the very same day, i made about 50 live sports bets (every bet for at least 70 % of my roll at that point), winning 1000$ in the process. i had no fkn clue whatsoever. from what i remember, i put 300$ (i.e. my entire bankroll at that time) on an under13 futsal tournament game in spain (lmao). the next day, i decide it´s a good idea to play roulette. i start faily low (like 50$ a spin lol), win a ton and 10 minutes later, i´m playing roulette at 500$ a piece. i peak at 10.000$, lose some back and decide it´s time to finish when i´m back to 3000$. i request a withdrawal. 1 hour later, i call betanwin.com and ask then to cancel the withdrawal. i continue to play at 500$ a spin, lose 4 in a row, request a withdrawal of 1000$ (20 times what i put on the site two days before). i cancel once more and lose it all.

Heard this a couple of days ago and its quite sad/funny

I went at some guy's house for a bbq two days ago and some older guy (around 50) who was there, started telling us his life story. To cut it short (and the strory was verified) he said that he lost all of his life earnings, around £700,000 in a time period of around 8-10 years , mostly on casino and bookies. This amount of money was spread around 3 fish n chip stores ( this is in the UK ) and a house in Greece ( this guy and so am is greek)

After losing all the money his wife left him, he moved to Greece where he met and married a younger woman from the Phillipines. He now works a 9-5 for minimum wage...
