My lifetime of degeneracy started when I was 18. Me and a few friends had planned out a sick Eurotrip. I had around 5k saved up from reselling clothes/sneakers in highschool.
Our first stop was London. I had never stepped foot in a casino before. It was 3am and we had just gotten back from a club, all drunk as ****. I played some BJ and roulette and ended up up around 200 pounds for the night. Both of my friends also won around the same amount and we were all hype as ****. Got into our hotel at 6am, Next day we cashed out and went on a little shopping spree in Soho, got lobster for dinner and balled out hard at the bar.
Fast forward 3 weeks. We have been going to casinos 2-3 times a day everyday for the entire trip. We would gamble after breakfast, before the bar to pregame at, after the club at 4am. A lot of ****ing degeneracy, some of my most ignorant times. I was up around $1000 in total, one of my friends was about even, and the other was down a few hundred bucks.
We flew into London for our last layover at 10pm and our flight was scheduled to head back to the states at 6am. Instead of paying for a hotel, we decided to stay at the Hippodrome for our last 10 hours in London. Free bag check, discounted meals, why not.
Immediately after stepping in, I throw a 20 pound note on #18 in roulette. It hits. I put that entire stack on black. It hits. I let it ride one more time on black. It hits.
I played 100 pound BJ for the rest of the night. Nothing really notable happens - I walk out with 5000 pounds (as a 18 year old).
A week later, I go on a roadtrip with my friend to Montreal, donk off about $1500 at roulette.
Fast forward 2 years: I've probably given most of that initial 5k back to the casinos and they now have a customer for life. I turn 21 in a few months by the way if there are any casino reps lurking who want to comp me a room for my 21st in Vegas

Going to start this off by saying this might not be a degen story. Not when compared to my old posts, I guess.
Up until today I had completely phased gambling out of my life. Thennn my girlfriend out of the blue says she liked me better when I gambled. I was like what?? She said I was more emotional, more fun. I asked her how and if I won we lived like kings, and if I lost.. we still kind of lived like kings. I'd burn as much money as I lost on 'fun' things in her mind.
She bought me a $50 prepaid card, and I immediately lost it two tabling $25PLO. I have no idea why, but this ultra mega tilted the living **** out of me. It wasn't the money.. it was just how gambling owns my soul. I 'quit' gambling after winning $2,000 on my last session of roulette, and was fine with that. Now I'm down $50 for no reason. It wasn't even my money but it still tilted me, I shouldn't have played.
Well, I fire up ol' entro pay.. load $50 onto the site, and away I go.. I win up to $180 spazzing out in PLO and then start playing satellites. I get into a $109 tourney in this crapshoot satellite. I was going to unregister for T$, but the tourney had already started. Actually I'm not sure if you can just take T$ anymore, but anyways.. 7 hours later I cashed in my first major final table for just over $2900 USD.
I tried to keep this short and to the point but now I'm tequila rambling.
I banned myself for 48 hours so I can wire the money into my bank upon logging in. $2900 USD is $3600 CAD for me, weeee.
Although this win has made me feel ecstatic it kind of feels like a loss. Because I shouldn't have gambled in the first place. I know I can't control myself gambling and that last miracle roulette session, and this miracle tournament session shouldn't have happened. Because I should have the self control to not gamble. Right now I just want to go hard in tournies buuut I know myself and I'm not tournament wizard. I tried to keep this short but I swear its the tequila talking...
