"The Child God Forgot"- a homoerotic emo poker poem

The Child God Forgot a poem by ashinynickel

Dedication: To all those whose downswings never end and whose boomswitches have been disabled. Never forget His love.

Beneath the kingdom, of 2+2
Lay a child, battered, beaten, black and blue.
He longed for fame, he longed for riches,
He longed for coke, and many bitches.

His youth was bright, and he studied hard,
In these forums, he had found his bard.
"Go forth and prosper" so said his teachers.
He soon ruled the tables, not just the bleachers.

But his dreams were dashed, his heart was wrought,
When some stupid fish won every pot.
He whined he moaned, he even berated.
He realized his ego, was far too inflated.

And so the gods above, at FTP,
Conferred in silence on his recent pleas:
"He's too entitled, he just wants to be rich"
"We should continue his LOL-doomswitch."

And with that motion, they set forth a spiral
He was sick and weary, his symptoms grew viral.
"When will it stop? This is erroneous!"
"Never" replied, Lord Patrik Antonious.

Two days later, he lay in a gutter
Lips shaking, he struggled to mutter,
"Why did this h-happen? Is this really my lot?"
Indeed he was, the child that God forgot.

On through the night, his thin body shivered,
Wrestling with thoughts of how he got rivered.
He withered away, broken and silent,
A victim of poker and all of its violence.

This innocent boy, once full of vigor,
FTP doomed him, he yanked on the trigger.
God from above saw him there dead
PA himself, He gave the boy Bread.

"Here, my child, your test is complete,"
"Come rule my kingdom, please have a seat."
His health was restored, the boy was now strong,
His BR infinity, his **** very long.

Possibly greatest lines ever.
