We both have 50 bigs and I look down at QJ off suit in the hijack. I open 3x and he three bets small. I call and we see the flop.

It comes QJ9 rainbow. I'm loving this spot but I don't want to win a small pot and a lot of scare card can come on turn, so I lead for half pot. He calls and the turn is bad for me it's the 9. So many hands are beating me now. I check and he makes a big bet. I call and the river comes K.

So board is QJ99K and I'm in check call mode. I check he jams.

But now alarm bells are going off. Why is this donk going all in with a 9 or a big pair when that king hits my check call range on the turn. I can easily have a hand like J10 or Q10 that just made a straight. And I block QQ and JJ. I never put him on 9 because what 9 is he three betting with pre except 99. He can have 98 suited or A9 suited, but it's a small range.

AA is off the table. Why does KK bet big on turn after the board pairs and hits more of my range?

So what can he have for value that plays this way?? It's a very small range. I call and he tables AQ suited that turned a flush draw and missed.
