Hero shoves all in. V calls and shows 98dd. I was like wowww runner runner.. I had the ****ing TRIPS!! And turn over my hand and watch the horror on the nit's face as the dealer pushed forward the 5-6-6 "Fives full of sixes". So satisfying.

Complains about ****ing slow rolling and hollywooding and then posts a ****ing story where he slow rolls and hollywoods in the same God damn hand. You said yourself he has top range hands and clearly isn't going to fold, yet you Hollywood? You're a ****ing doucheclown MTT, I bet you got your ass kicked a lot in high school.

I regret nothing. He ****ing min raised me. Basically saying "I have the nuts and I will announce it to you. And I don't think you have much. But at the same time force you to either pay me or throw away getting 5-to-1 on the hand you believed was worth $x". F o villain. That slowroll cleaned up and warmed up my soul. Did he really think I was betting with air AND fold to any other raise but the ****ing MIN?!

The other night. I'm holding 66 and I min raise and get called in 3 spots.

Flop comes 6AA....YAHTZEE.

Both players have an Ace and I smooth call until the river where I rip it and both called.

Top of the Woooorld, Ma!

Complete d**khead at the table, needling everyone for about 2 hours, taking people's chips and rubbing it in their faces, slams down Ad4d on a 8d10d3cJdQs board, all chips in the middle and shouting "I've got the nuts" while I'm holding 7d9d. Not one for slow rolling but this one I really enjoyed.

Flopping immortals in a crescendoing pot. Once had K-K-2-2 in PLO game, two raises pre, flop was 2-2-7, and a different player than the preflop raisers led right into the raisers. But I figure he had one out, so not like flopping a straight flush, but a fairly orgasmic situation.

Old nit sitting there with $65 at the 2/5, multiway pot.

Flop bets $10, hero calls.

Turn, ON bets $10 again. Hero has now hit trips.

"If I call we check it down?"

{No matter what villain answer}

Hero: "ALL IN" ... "Send you home faster"

-------------

OMC who hasn't played a hand in hours and sitting on <20 BB. Limp, and when there is a raise and calls, looks at his watch, "oh well it's time to go home" (actually has a hand like TT+). Hero (or anyone for that matter) wakes up with KK+ and throws OMC's line right back at him. "Alright, since you wanna go home.. I wouldn't wanna hold you up".

Playing $1/2 on a lazy Thursday night. You're holding suited connectors and the flop leaves you with 4 to your flush and with a gutshot straight flush draw. The bets and calls on the flop are looking quite profitable. The turn is a blank and it gets checked down giving you a free card on the river*. As the river card is being flipped over you realize quickly you've made your straight, then as the suit focuses in you realize you've hit your straight flush. The first to act bets, then two callers.. you look up at the high hand countdown clock and wait the 20 seconds until the clock counts down on the quad jacks you have on the board.. BING BING! Quad jacks just won a $250 high hand for you, you now value bet your straight flush, get one caller, and another high hand gets locked up. :-)

*yeah, yeah, there might have been money left on the table by not betting the turn in position, but I'd been running good and didn't want to tip off my "customers" -- preferring to play trappy for this hand.

^^ Why would you wait and not try to win the $250 right there? Now your straight flush can be best in the next half hour or whatever.

I don't understand what you're asking? I had quad jacks on the board to win with just 20 seconds left of the half hour.. so I waited the 20 seconds then value bet my straight flush.. so that won the next high hand. Two high hands back to back, same dealer.

On a sadder note I only had quads twice last night.. the first quads (4's) were too low to win the high hand and the second set of them (jacks) was after the promotion ended. :-(

Oh ok. You were the one with the quad jacks. Sick! Was that at Foxwoods by any chance?

My favourite feeling is coolering some poor soul at my local homegame and watching the look on their face when I flip over the nutteroos to their second best hand and watch that big pot ship my way.
