99% sure it's the latter.

I have seen Kevmode slip up several times and make it very obvious that he's simply trolling. It mostly happened earlier in his posting career, and he's since gotten much better at being subtle.

I'm quite sure it's not a case of Poe's Law. I'd bet money on it. The guy is very creative and talented, perhaps even masterful at the craft. Though it's kind of a shame he doesn't put it to better use.
