Yeah that's about right for Visa.

888 hold all withdrawals for 3 days to allow you to cancel them as standard. If you think about it, it's actually really good for keeping the fish in the game. No winning player will cancel their withdrawal unless they hit an immediate downswing or w/e but fish/degens might cancel it if they get bored a couple of nights later so it keeps the money on the site which is good for us and 888.

I use MB so when the 3 days holding period is up my withdrawal is in my MB. Visa will take another 3-5 days from that point so that's why you are waiting a week or so.

Stop withdrawing to visa btw. 888 and your bank will rape like 20% of your withdrawal.

Re: Boss's flip on 888 obv

haha I forgot I made this thread but I actually came 3rd in this for like $685 or something. 5 Bet shoved 10js like a boss and got snapped off by ako and didnt hit. Been running like god since playing 2/5 and 3/6 live in vancouver. I think I'm up ~9k this summer so far in roughly 60 hours. The games are so soft it's unbeliveable. Everyones super good (most of the time), at the 1/2 games, but the 2/5 and 3/6 games are full of exploitable old dudes that just play the nuts and think I never have it because I'm 22.
2/5 Edgewater Hand
4 Handed. Me, 1 other good young player and 2 old guys that don't give a turtle toot about the money and are terrible players
Playing 2/5/10 NL mandatory straddle
Hero ~2400
Villian ~6700
Hero raises CO to 35 w 4c4s

SB Folds, BB Folds, Villian in straddle (CO I guess) Calls 35
FLOP(77) - 7d10xjx
CO Checks, Hero Checks
TURN(77) - 4d
CO bets 55, Hero raises to 175, CO raises all in, Hero Calls
RIVER(~4800) - 9d
Villian - AdJcx
Hero - 4c4s
I guess he has the nut flush blocker but IMO the shove on the turn is horrendous. He overbet like 8x times pot or whatever with a decent hand that folds out my draws and only gets called by 89, 10j, jj, 1010, 77 and may bee like KQdd and hands like that that have super good equity against him,. I had also been playing fairly aggro so he should assume that I would barrel most rivers after I raise the flop and he can just call and take down a decent pot most of the time. This has happened numerous times in this game where the "businessmen" make bets that don't make any sense. They aren't bluffing, and they aren't value betting. They're simply betting by "feel". Obv to any game theory expert this is super irrational and kinda funny but the best part was when I asked him about his thought process on why he overbet shoved the turn. He said ("I had top pair top kicker, that usually wins")... And they say NLH is dead.

Re: Boss's flip on 888 obv

Lol thanks for the spellcheck bro. Yeah I'm down to do some flips for sure man. How do I PM? I know it stands for private message and people have told me to "PM" them but I can't figure out how to do it. Most days after about 2 I'm done class. Summer classes at UBC in Vancouver suck I'm one of about 5 caucasian people in all of my finance classes. I've been on a pretty dec upswing lately so I'd be down to do some decent size flips (like a boss). Let me know man.
