Yeah while the challenge is awesome; it would be far far more appealing to the masses to say he started with $0, and it wouldn't be too much more difficult to do that I think.

He'll do this super easily in <6 months imo. Even I managed to go from $15 to >20k in my first year of playing and i was 1. absolutely terrible at poker, having never played never at all 2. put in very low volume (<50hrs/month) 3. took a while to learn to multitable properly 4. never had any form of rakeback and 5. didn't play at all for 2 full months within that year. Boku on the other hand starts this off as a good poker player who can grind like no other and will be earning a decent amount from rakeback alone.

Nice...fwiw I always thought challenges like this are the easiest way to show poker is predominantly a game of skill and not luck. GO BOKUMANIACS!
