re: Boku87 Challenge #2 UPDATE: FINISHED!
We know he can go from 100 to 10000 in 15 days so we can guess how long the rest will take.
It will prolly take about 1 week to go from 5 to 100, once there, he will have enough FPP to get $10 any time he wants from a FPP MTT.
Then it will take 3 weeks with weekends off to get to 10,000.
Then he can raise the stakes X10 and with a lower ROI can get to 100,000 in another month.
Lets say he runs bad and loses a week here and there. That's another month.
So total 3 months... with weekends off.
$5 to 100K in a year is astounding and amazing - especially since he has over a million in play money so effectively he is turning $0 to 100K in a year.... WOW... impressive
Just not as impressive as the first one - especially since there is no downside potential like the last one had.
No disrespect to the legend, but what happened to the 100 days?

re: Boku87 Challenge #2 UPDATE: FINISHED!
someone needs to make a bid for action/state their price.
i am willing to bet against Boku and give 1-1 / even money. up to $100 for now. escrow with someone obv.
for me... the fact he can buy bonuses is huge. the 100,000fpp $1500 bonuses will get him at least $15k imo

re: Boku87 Challenge #2 UPDATE: FINISHED!
This is only going to serve to cement his legendary status (as if he needed any more help...lol). I'm not sure it's going to be as easy as people seem to think it's going to be, but at the same time, I'm about 98% sure he will do it with at least a couple of months to spare. It will be amazing to watch though.

re: Boku87 Challenge #2 UPDATE: FINISHED!
Perhaps not quite as amazing as his first challenge due to the fact we already witnessed what he is capable of...but also this time he has no restrictions as far as I can tell? still...very very sick

its also lame for another reason which is that multiple people in the past have done similiar things just by putting in alot of volume and becoming good at poker over the course of the year, on the contrary nobody I know of has made 10k in 15 days the way boku did
still awesome, gl boku

re: Boku87 Challenge #2 UPDATE: FINISHED!
I think people are underestimating the mental aspect of the task, and the time period involved. The last task was over 2 weeks, so he put his life and soul into it for 2 weeks. This is over a year, you're forgetting other important things outside of Poker..
Mindless grinding for months on end to reach $100k? Boku or not, grinding hours and hour and hours after hours every day for months on end is enought o drive anyone crazy, especially the amount of tables he plays.
Do I think he'll do it? Yup, but I don't think it'll be as easy as everyone's making out.
$10k over 2 weeks.
so $100k would take 20 weeks right?
(going at the same rate, ~)
Well we're forgetting he did some 20+ hours days at this, so even if he does 10+ hour days, which is still pretty sick with the amount of tables he plays, this is still 9 months winning at the rate he did at the last challenge.
Not as easy as everyone thinks IMO.

re: Boku87 Challenge #2 UPDATE: FINISHED!
seriously given history, who would bet against ? Seriously he's allowed to enter 90/180 man sngs where he can make more money than he did in his previous challenge. He's allowed to play FPP tournies, which litteraly mean free buy-ins for crappy donkaments he can easily crush. And he will be earning a ****load of FPPs so it's basically free money.
The hardest part for him will be the first few days/weeks, hoping he doesn't get busto. But if he's allowed to play NL2 or .02/.04 Limit it will basically never happen.
The only risk is major depression/tilt due to 50-tabling 15 hours/day but since he gets a whole year to do this he even can have a normal life.

re: Boku87 Challenge #2 UPDATE: FINISHED!
this will be easy for him, especially given that he can turn his fpps into cash. take away that option and he will still be even money or better to complete this.
