It's not even a matter of past or present tense.

In English spelt and spelled are interchangeable. So you can say "this is/was spelled wrong" or "this is/was spelt wrong". I believe "spelled" is however the prefered spelling in the US.

Still, it always makes me laugh when I see an American correcting someone for using the proper UK English spelling of a word. Did you never consider that maybe you could be wrong?

This thread would be better without spelling / grammar arguments and also without all the non-believers. This is clearly not a fake.

+1 to all the to ps support

Hello Martin,

Thank you for contacting PokerStars regarding your Frequent
Player Points (FPPs) loan request.

In some circumstances PokerStars can approve FPP loans where
players have already earned the majority of the FPPs required to
buy-in to a tournament or purchase a basic VIP Store item. On
this occasion unfortunately, the size of your loan request is too
large in proportion to the size of your FPP balance, so we are
unable to grant you the loan.

We apologize for not being able to accommodate your request in
this occasion. Your understanding will be appreciated.

Please let us know if we can assist you further, and thanks for
playing at PokerStars.

Regards,

Andrea Ji

Hello Martin,

Thank you for your reply.

I'm very sorry but you probably misread our previous email. It
stated that unfortunately "your loan request is too large in
proportion to the size of your FPP balance, so we are unable to
grant you the loan."

We are truly sorry we cannot accommodate your request. Please
feel free to contact us again if you require any further
information or assistance.

Between this and them letting the players fly around and sort out an amicable rake deal I'm reminded how "human" their staff and support generally are. A+ Stars, keep making us laugh out loud.
