I emailed Pokerstars this afternoon with a question about private tournaments, but we ended up chatting about all sorts of things:

Subject: custom tournaments
Hi there,
I hope your day is going well. I was wondering if it is possible to create private tournaments with re-buys available. My friends and I would very much like to do so.
Thanks,
XXXX

Hi Howard,
Thanks for responding to me. Perhaps my friends and I could buy into the tournament in an alternative currency, such as tales of adventure, ghost stories, links to funny pictures, of descriptions of our favorite hamburgers.
Furthermore, do you think it would be possible to host private strip poker tournaments? We all have web cams, so it wouldn't be a problem.
Thanks,
XXXX

Thanks Howard,
We really do have a keen interest in poker. Did you see the World Series of Poker this year where Darvin Moon almost won, but Joe Cada won isntead? You guys must be happy that Phil Ivey and Full Tilt didn't win. Now Pokerstars can claim another champ!
Do you think Moon was really that much worse than Cada? I mean, neither of them were as good as Jerry Yang, but nobody ever will be, right?
Thanks, Howard!

Hello XXXX,
Ahh yes the WSOP. Darvin Moon was an impressive chip leader but did make a
few mistakes. Head up poker requires not only skill but also an element of
luck but the key is not making many mistakes as east pot is crucial. If Phil
Ivey won, it would have been good for Full Tilt indeed but also poker on the
whole as he is such an inspiration to all poker players.
Best of luck on the tables and thanks for choosing PokerStars!
