I have never played blackjack, but thanks for bumping an old thread. Considering how much I like reading everyone's blackjack stories, I think I will start using "vicariousaments" now.

UB once gave me $10 for free. I had cashed out my bankroll and they wanted me to play again. I played some black jack. I lost it all.

The casinos never thought about the martingale system....

mines 1600 but it was at roullete. first time ever trying, would walk through the pits and said anytime i ever see more then 6 in a row of one colour id come bet the opposite.

$100, $200, $400, $800 fail.

BR was about $4500

Last year I lost $5k in blackjack/roulette on AP and had a pretty huge whine about it on 2P2 maybe you can find the thread...It felt horrible and I got it banned for life..And all this for what? Chasing a $30 loss of holdem..using Martingale...This isn't new...Have lost another $5k in 2008 as well in a similar way...Its a NIGHTMARE to even think about BLACKJACK now

I've lost thousands playing BJ over the years... the worst time was when I blew my entire $2k+ roll on UB (lol) in just under 20 minutes...

I've since closed all my accounts on sites that offer Casino games. I do play at SunPoker but I have requested they blocked my account from those games and they agreed to do so.

the past 6 months about half of my live poker winnings have been donated to blackjack... im probably down 2k i hate it soo much but for some reason always play "just to kill time" i tell myself to bet the min. but always up it to 100-200 bets and go on insane swings, and have to quit when my pockets are empty.

Once, back in the day I had 2-3 occasions where I played BJ and another game in online casinos. this was a long time ago, but it always ended in me betting 300/500 hand and bust. Sickest feeling ever obv.

In vegas in 08, more recent time. was backpacking and was strollin' around the stratosphere waiting for the lame 1/3 game or w/e to open up. started betting 20 or something a hand to pass the time, cue the losing and martingaling to weird amounts. then last bet is obv 450, and lose in a lol way. Insta leave table: the dealer calls me "you forgot this" pointing to a 25 dollar chip.
