I always want to know what, exactly, gets someone banned, but it seems like the offending post itself gets deleted. Maybe instead of removing the post altogether the mods could just edit it out and substitute a brief explanation for why the poster has been banned; e.g. "Poster has been banned for excess profanity" or "Poster has been banned for pissing off the mods" or "Poster has been banned for being an obnoxious young whippersnapper and general *******". Would really provide some closure for all of us. Thanks for your consideration.
