Try uninstalling stars and then deleting the folder from C:\ProgramFiles\PokerStars. You might have to delete all of the files that are stored in the systems registry. This might work for you, but I'm thinking that stars recognizes your machine by MAC address, not IP.

Wow you're starting to convince me that you REALLY shouldn't be playing but anyhow, if you REALLY need to get back on Stars right away (lol), go over the previous posts! Completely wipe PS off your computer and create a new user in XP. Then you'll need to use a different name for starting a new PS account (I wouldn't recommend that either but whatever, you're a DESPERATE DEGEN). If you are still presented with the same error message then get those neighbours of yours to make some config changes.

Uh, you could always maybe consider the crazy idea of getting your OWN access to teh intarnets to make things a little easier? Then you could connect to a remote proxy/otherwise "mask" your IP.

FFS screw it, just check out GA/AA/some other counselling and actually investigate why you found the need to get hammered, lose your last $200 BR (or whatever) and cry out for attention on PS play money tables. This is a way better option for you IMO. You just seem waaaay too needy re: getting back on Stars like NOW, RIGHT NOW.
