Speedlimits / Brett Mrozowski scammed me for 3k


I traded several times with him before and really didn't expect something like that. But he scammed me for 3k.

Last wednesday we talked on AIM:

So i already sent back his 2k on FTP but since we traded before several times and because i know he is a winning player i trust him and sent 3k (he asked for 3k instead of 2k after the dialogue above) on AP to his account SPEEEDLIMITS.

Nothing is squared away. He still has my 3k. He logged in on 2p2 several times so i am sure he read all my further PMs. He played .5/1 NL on FTP earlier today. I joined some of his tables and tried to talk to him. He just ignored me and kept playing.

He is a winning player, so he def still has the money but he is not willing to pay it back.

Please stack him, slowroll him, tell him and his mum that he is a scammer whenever you get a chance.. he will be in Vegas for the ME.

Brett owes me 1k too. He owed me for coaching for a while, and I completely forgot about it. This thread reminded me, so I PMed him about it. He instaresponded asking how much he owes. I replied saying it was $1k on July 2nd, and I haven't heard from him since.



update: 12/6/09 from NoahSD "Brett still owes me $610 and has stopped speaking to me."

Doing this to someone like pokerbot who is a stand up guy and always tries to help others is just pathetic.

played this dude on AP before, my first thought was wasn't it too soon to be accusing him? but now that he is viewing this thread and not responding, **** him.

he has my money since wednesday and he lied to me several times.
i should've made that thread earlier but like i said, i don't expected him to scam me and because of that i didn't realize it earlier.

afaik he hasn't play on AP lately but he plays on FTP nearly every day. screenname is CyberGurly.

you better pay pokerbot, just look @ hsnl xfer thread he has great references and many friends in the pokerworld.

That whole interchange is very odd...in that it definitely doesn't read like it was written by someone (Brett) whose intent from the get-go was to scam you. Things started to get shady when he changed all the info on his blog, though, for sure; and him not responding to any of your PMs / caht since then makes it all the more concerning.

Yeah you are right. I am sure he just wanted a normal transfer in the beginning but as he got the chance to scam me he did it. There is a german idiom "Gelegenheit macht Diebe". Should be something like "Opportunity makes the thief" in english (it is 1:1 translated, i hope you get what i try to say).
