Small group of friends play a home game about once a week. Small stakes buy in, everyone is very friendly. Basically just friends, and friends of friends. We like to drink beer and have fun. A regular brings his friend, who seems nice enough, but starts tilting me right off the bat as he starts trying to "run the game" by creating side pots before the action is closed, point out who the action is on, while telling stories and slowing the game himself when the action is on him, and generally being incorrect with his interventions with the game and poker rules.

This reaches a tilt fever point when I am dealing and he is not paying attention. I pitch him his first card which bounces off his hand and off the table. In order to not slow down the game I simply pitch him a new card and deal the rest of the table as he picks up the 8d and announces it as the burn card. Fine. Preflop action closes and it is 2 players to the flop. This tilt guy and 1 other player. I admittedly mistakenly burn and turn the flop, even though there was "already a burned card" and this guy acts like it's hiroshima all of a sudden. I calmly explain, don't worry about it, we needed 3 random cards for the flop, mission accomplished. His opponent bets, and he explains how he wished there wasn't an extra burn card and how now everything is changed, but he's "not complaining" to which the person who brought him jokes, "oh, because it sounds like you're complaing" we all laugh and he calls the bet. Long story long, he gets it in on the turn with a turned straight against his opponents top pair to make him up about 8 buy ins for the night. I myself won that night and am up over 40 buy ins in our home games overall, so certainly no envy here, just want to know...
Would this situation tilt you? Is it not superstitious to believe "everything is changed" after an extra burn? How is that different than the dealer giving an extra shuffle and now "everything is changed" am I the *******? I understand the cards are dealt that way to prevent angling/cheating, but I don't think that is a real concern in our super marshmallow pit 10-30 buck buy in home game.

Try to understand he's new. He doesn't know how things work at your home game yet. There's no need to tilt over it, next time just drink some water and take some time to recollect yourself. Then pee on everything he touches to show him who's alpha.

OP: just here with a short update

1. I do deserve a dick in the mouth
2. I did pee on him to show him who was alpha. Fairly good results. Turns out Peeing on people is pretty GTO.
3. Didn't punch the guy cause I got to win my money back from hum DUUUUHHH.
4. Gonna play with the same group tomorrow. Will try the "Lets take it outside" line Javi Suggests. Will report results tomorrow. Spoiler Alert: It makes me look real badass.

I just went to the nastiest home game ever.

First of all, everybody ****ing smoked. The air was immensely polluted I couldn't breath.

There was cigarette buds and ashes all over the place.. Felt, cup holders, the ****ing eating table.

The chips were dirty, the cards were dirty, the place smelled like **** and the bathroom had mold all over the place. That place made the 0.10/0.20 joint look like a ****ing 5 star restaurant.

Worst of all, they played one round of Omaha every other orbit. So we see about 9 hands of limp fest and check down two streets.

The game: High rake, experienced players, not beatable.

I don't get it. I could play the 2/5 for a fraction of the rake, a much softer game and a much nicer environment.

It's like, you could work your ass off as a ganitor and make little money. Or you could work at a comfortable office and make tons of money.

You could try to game on an average chick while she plays cold and hard to get, or you could get a smart, HOT girl who is warm, flirty, easy to talk to, down to earth and straight forward. I'm not even kidding. Some of the hottest girls I've interacted with were immensely pleasant and responsive, while the average and even fat ones would be disgusting frigid cows.

No, if some ******* says, "wanna take it outside?" you say, "no thanks, I'm good here," and then immediately clock him right in the face.

If he's a lot bigger than you the yiu could agree to go outside and try to hit with a chair or a lamp on the way out.

If he's a lot bigger than you, he's probably not going to pick a fight with you, because you likely won't be a threat to him. Most big dudes who aren't ex cons or who haven't spent time on the inside tend not to be violent, especially to people much smaller than them.
