First hand I flopped a set of threes, on like a 3, 8, J rainbow flop. He shoved with 77, I called, river was a 7. Then he started explaining the improbaility out loud, "See, that's the beauty of a pocket pair." Then a couple hand later, all in, similar situation, his 8,9 against my QQ with a flop of 2, 8, J, turn was a 5, river a 9 ... giving him two pair and he said, "Ok, THAT time I got lucky."

2 outer ... "That's why 77 is a good hand even if you miss the flop"

6 outer .... "I got lucky. I admit that I got lucky there."

He won.
