So for years now I have been crushing home games and crushing the online cash games up to $.25/50 nlh. $.50/$1 nlh online is where I turn to about break even poker. I also never used HUD's. With that being said I am a good solid player but not great. Why is it that I cannot beat the $1/2 and $1/3 games at the casinos?? Sure there are a few decent players here and there but most totally suck yet I am losing. Seems like every fricken big pot I am in, I either get completely coolered or drawn out on. And no I am not giving off some obvious tells or anything like that.
My conclusion..... Those damn shuffling machines at the tables rig the cards. It is seriously my only explanation. Go ahead and flame away but I am convinced that live casino poker is RIGGED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

either you havn't played enough or you got a leak somewhere.
at my casino 400nl live is softer than 10nl online
I agree. The players at 10nl are better than most live casino players. I have been playing at the casino a long time though before black Friday only about 10 sessions per year, now I go almost every week. I just seem to be getting screwed over repeatedly at the casino.
I don't know how to say this nicely but if you're break even or losing at 1/2 1/3 in casinos there are one of two problems or maybe both.
Problem #1: your sample is too small to judge.
Problem #2: You're not as good as you think you are. Maybe you think you're a big favorite but you're really not when you get drawn out on. I don't know you or the type of player you are so i can't just off of anything but results. But, losing at 1/2 and 1/3 is a bad sign, unless you're using an extremely small sample

Sample size is not huge, starting keeping track about 30 sessions ago. Each session is about 3 hours or so so figure about 100 hours or so. Again I have been playing for years but I use to only occasionally play live and did not keep track. Is it possible that I am down at 1/2, 1/3 over a 100 hour sample size by just running terrible. My sample sizes online were 10s of thousands of hands at each level up to. 25/.50 that I was beating.
I have played live with OP before at the casinos. He gives off the most obvious tells that games build around him
You're right Wilfred, I just realized that every time I flop a set I jump out of my chair and fist pump for 10 seconds. And every time I miss the flop I slam the table and throw my drink across the room.
This is the first time I've ever told someone this but I know a man that works for a company that rigs the shuffling machines. I can give you his contact info if you like OP.
honest answer here : you probably have tells. you probably bet badly(example: if you put in $5 or 6 with AA in a live 1/2 game then wonder why the whole table is calling you.? this isnt online, you gotta put in 15 or sometimes 20 lol
another leak you migth have is playing too many hands because you get bored?

Thank you for the input. My preflop raises I usually keep consistent with What the other players at the table are doing. I will also mix it up, if there is a player calling 90% of raises preflop I will make it $20 or $25 preflop.
I have been getting really annoyed by these beats I have been taken, so I decided this weekend I am taking pretty much the rest of my roll And sitting in the 5/10 nlh game.

That's the attitude! They don't rig the 5/10 games so you should be alright
