BBV Guidelines Cliffnotes: use common sense, no racism, no spamming or begging/asking for loans or stakes, don't suck. Follow these tenets and you will be happy.
IF IT'S RELATED TO POKER/GAMBLING/$$$, POST IT IN BBV.
IF NOT, POST IT IN BBV4L OR ANOTHER OFFTOPIC FORUM. IF YOU REPEATEDLY POST OFFTOPIC STUFF HERE AND MAKE BBV SUCK FOR EVERYONE ELSE YOU WILL BE DEALT WITH ACCORDINGLY. FOR YOUR FIRST OT THREAD YOU WILL RECIEVE A 20 POINT INFRACTION AND THE SECOND WILL RESULT IN A DAY TEMPBAN.
DO NOT ASK FOR STAKING OR BEG FOR MONEY. YOU WILL BE BANNED. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Additional notes about posting:
-11/09 ADDING THE WORD 'POKER' OR '+EV' IN FRONT OF ANOTHER WORD DOES NOT MAKE IT A POKER THREAD. I.e. what is your favorite type of music-->what is your favorite type of 'poker' music or 'what is the most +EV poker shoe' is still not about poker and belongs in the offtopic forums. Bragging about stuff you bought with poker money is cool, though (i.e. check out my balla new poker apartment...this is actually related to poker in SOME way).
8/16 DO NOT HOTLINK PICTURES. Hotlinking is when you directly link a picture from another website, as opposed to hosting from a site like photobucket.com. It uses up small websites' bandwidth, which pisses them off. More importantly, sometimes when they are pissed off they change the picture to disgusting porn (goatse or something). If these pics change you will be held responsible! So host your own pictures.
-4/20 The new vbulletin system has added a system of infraction points. This is an extra warning before we have to start handing out tempbans and is a measure of how much of a problem a poster is. Light offenses like posting offtopic crap, using bbv as your personal assistant (see below) usually warrant 20. Any tempbannable offense will get you between 20 and 40 points. If you get 100 points you will be permabanned so be careful. I generally set them to expire in 12 months so if you are a decent poster you shouldn't have to worry about one or two screwups.
-4/20 If it wasn't super clear from the guidelines above, please treat other posters with respect. '*****' type comments will not be tolerated.
-03/10- BBV is not your personal assistant. Do not come here looking for a task (cheap flights, looking for a tv, etc) offering to pay money. This creates headaches because a) people offering money don't pay people and broke railbirds come to the mods expecting us to enforce these bets; and b) it has NOTHING TO DO WITH POKER! Posting these threads from now on will result in locking and infractions and potentially bans.
-There are lots of awesome drama threads in bbv and people want to be a part of them in some way. But if you don't have anything to add, don't just say 'awesome/1/2/3/4/in on the ground floor/etc.' because, ironically, it clutters up the threads and makes them huge and mostly unreadable, which ruins it for everyone else who has to dig through all your crap to get to the originally awesome thread. Repeat offenders of this who spam a lot and don't really contribute anything of value will be dealt with accordingly.
-NSFW tag or not, no [image] tagging nudity in here. You can link pics all you want, but don't put them inline plz, kthx.
-If an image you post violates the profanity filter (f--k, s---t, etc.) it still counts as violating the profanity filter and will be dealt with accordingly (usually a tempban and infractions).

2p2 also resizes your images automatically now. If you want to get the big awesome bbv pics in all their glory, do this:
1) go to my 2+2
2) go to edit options
3) set max height and max width to 0
4) save changes

BBV IS NOT THE FORUM FOR POKER ADVICE
If you want to know if something is normal variance, or what games you should play or what bankroll you need or why your red line is doing whatever it is doing or to ask for help bcause you cant figure out XYZ, then you need to post that somewhere else (and read the sticky in whatever forum before you do, because 99% of the time your questions are answered there).
Basically if you have a question that you actually want an answer to, BBV isnt the forum for your question.

so yeah, no more "first", "4rd" or saying the same thing over in different colors. Think your "tree fiddy" comment is funny? Well you better be right, cuz if it aint, youll be getting tree fiddy times 2.857142 infraction points and the odds of that are about 50/50
EDIT 1/25 uh yeah, just so its completely clear "cool story bro" obviously falls into this category.

Ok, there is some confusion, which is ENTIRELY my fault as I thought it was now allowed if done properly. But posting of nudes inline, is NOT allowed, regardless of whether it's in a spoiler and labeled or not. Linking to nudes (not porn) is ok tho. As always tho, put a NSFW label.
