I have to tell you guys what happened to me yesterday while playing NL Texas Hold'em at a local indian casino.

So I'm at this table playing poker and this asian girl joins our table. After about 5 minutes I pegged her as a timid player that easily folds to aggression. Everytime I was in a hand against her I'd make big raises and she would muck her hand. Nearly every time I'd show her my rags and let her know she was bluffed. Of course, I was doing this to set her up for the big one. She kept telling me "You are worst poker player in history!"

Pretty soon I get my big hand of AA and pop her big preflop....considering our history she thought I was bluffing her again and it was taking her forever to make a decision. So I looked at her and said....

"What you gonna do, Yoko Ono!"

All of a sudden everyone at the table called me a racist, she started crying and the pit boss was called over. I told them it's NOT racist to point out the fact that she looks like Yoko Ono.

Pretty soon the dude next to me tells me he is going to "KILL ME!" for my comment. The pit boss ends up dragging me away from the table and calling security and now I have been banned from the casino for 1 year!

I'm banned for saying "What you gonna do, yoko ono!" but the guy that threatened to kill me was allowed to stay and even congratulated for his comments.


What say you....Political Correctness Overall? Multicultural Brainwashing? Or am I a closet racist unbeknownst to myself?

Yeah, I may have been acting like an arse in this situation, but was my comment racist? Do I deserve to be threatened to be killed for that comment? Do I deserve to be banned for one year? Phil Helmuth says alot worse to northern european players. I guess it's okay to criticize White europeans, but it's not PC to make a comment to asian girls.

It's just ridiculous political correctness, never thought it would be that bad in a casino though... a few months ago in Empire Leicester Square I was in a shorthanded game with this loose passive black guy. One hand I was fully representing the flush all the way, everybody on the table thought I had a flush, but he called me down with bottom pair... so I said "NICE CALL, WESLEY SNIPES" (he looked a lot like Wesley). Everybody at the table high-fived me and the waitress brought me a glass of champagne, they all loved it. Sounds like this casino of yours is too uptight imo.

It was never played because of all the commotion. I guess she mucked it somewhere in between the guy threatening to kill me and the pit boss calling security.

this is a bit ridiculous, everyone looks at Tony G's video where he is relentlessly racist and kind of laughs it off "haha, thats tony g for ya!" and this dude gets a ban when making an off the cuff remark cause the girl was probably cute and the table/floor wanted to impress/appease her.
