playing 1/2 late night and got into a fun spot.

100BB deep effective

hero is stuck 2 buy ins from 2 coolers - AA vs KK on a 663 vs an aggressive player and flush over flush.

Hero stacked another villain with a set and villain rebought and is clearly steaming.

Villain raises $10
1 cold caller
Hero 3bets to $25 on BTN with KJ
only villain calls.

Pot is $60ish

Flop is J93

Villain checks.
Hero bets $35 - villain has been raising weak bets so i'm pretty sure he will raise almost 100% of his range here.

Villain raises all in
Hero calls.

Board runs out clean
Villain says your good - hero tables KJ

Wins $400ish pot.

Hero is now up $50 from being stuck $400

Don't really like the 3bet sizing. I'd rather make it $45 and actually have some fold equity.

How is this a thread?

It's so bad I'm not going to lock it and give permission for everyone to use EAD.

This is the new BBV level, post a very standard live hand of poker and have everyone wondering where's the punch line? Well done.

the 3bet sizing is pretty good I think. I mean it builds the pot a little bit when I have position and i'm most likely ahead pre flop and i could easily just check behind if I miss.

I will rarely win this pot with a cbet so I run pretty good that I flopped top pair.

Hi Djevans! Nice thread!

I hope you don't mind if I borrow your thread but I play this hand about one week ago. Won about 3,5$ in that session:

    $1/$2 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 2 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

    SB: $302.55 (151.3 bb)
    Hero (BB): $199 (99.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 7 T
    SB folds

    Spoiler:
    Results: $2 pot
    Hero mucked 7 T and won $2 ($1 net)

    Nice hand Jesus!

I'm curious about your pre-flop reasoning. Did you read him for a weak tight nit that would throw it away to an open, or perhaps a donk that will see a river if he's in pre. Please let us know!

Also, dj, very nice play. Did he show his aq? I find your threads to be particularly helpful as I try to move from fish to crusher. Keep the faith bro!
