CO hasn't played a hand in the last 10-15 mins.

He has shown QJs 3 way pot being chip leader but super short stack if loses
has shown AJ, QQ heads up in the past.

every1 folds to CO who goes all-in w/ 10BB

I have 10BB left on BB do I call 100% of the time with A9o ?

Would you call wider (A2o - A9o) with the information above that he might be using ICM for his decisions ?

When handling a situation as tense and situationally diverse as this one I ask myself one simple a truly life defining question: How badly do I need to take a poop right now? If it's pretty badly I snap call...I mean my tournament equity is on the line here, that's important! Otherwise I look to other strategic factors before making my decision.

A9o is a call almost every time. The correct calling range is much wider. I would say Ax, KTo+, K8s+, QTs+, QJo, any pair.

Was this at a live game? People are generally more weak-tight in game tourneys. You might wanna tighten up your calling range and widen up your open-shoving range. I've played in live games where you can literally shove two napkins from UTG+2, UTG+1 and UTG (three hands in a row), get folded around, and bring your 8 BB stack to a 16 BB stack. People don't call A10/66. I've seen people fold AQ/99 with a 12 BB stack to a shove.

A9o is still a call most of the time.

So you have 11BB including the BB? Or 9BB plus the BB? I think you should just call and look to play a flop.. If the BB is over 350 I would just call, if the BB is less than 350 wait until its gets to 420, sit out and go smoke a dube.
