2nd place 30k guaranteed bovada $55 650 players $4387.50

I bought in compulsively to this tournament. The late registration is 135 minutes and the tournament starts at 5pm pacific time I was looking at tournaments cause I wanted to gamble and bought in last second to this one. I was player 650 out of 650 entrants. I started with 3k and blinds were 250-500 ante 50 and I went all-in on the cutoff with K4(2800 to win 1200 blinds antes) because the big blind had 4k and I stole the blinds and then kept winning until I made the money. I won with AQ and then AA back to back in the money to get a big chip stack then later I had AQ all-in vs AQ and flopped the nut freeroll flush draw and hit it. 10 handed I had AQ raised and got called by the button and big blind and flopped AKx and I check raised the button all-in and he called with A8 for a huge(biggest tournament so far) 400k pot and AQ held up. I had the chip lead going into the final table. I picked a few spots and won pretty much every hand I played. I called an all-in with AT vs 99 5 handed for 30% of my stack and spiked a ten on the turn. So 4handed I had about half of the chips. I applied some pressure but was patient also. Going into heads up I had a 2-1 chip lead. I misplayed a couple hands heads up got it all in with 55 and lost to A9 counterfeited QQ88. I won pretty much every hand I played in the tourney up until heads up so I cant complain. Every AQ and AK flopped tptk and won etc. I had about $1100 in my account and I was on a downswing playing a bunch of tournies before this. 1st was $6500.

I've late regged so many Bovada tourneys and went deep / ft / won a few. It's the best feeling.

Solid brag and win, but TLDR

Cliffs: I bought in last second to the 30k nightly on Bovada. Last registered player and got 2nd. Took my bank/life roll from 1k to 5.5k

I could have played much worse trust me. I didn't play great but not that bad either. I just couldn't get a hand and was playing a very aggro opponent. Only a couple of hands I'd play differently.

I was down 2k in the last like 2 or 3 weeks just playing a bunch tournies. So much effing variance.

Solid brag but idk to me it seems like you should get more with that many players 650 and $55 game I guess 1st is where the big money is. 5000 is nice win though what will you buy with it ?

1st was 2k more not too much. online tournies have a flatter payout structure. going to play bigger poker games with it.
