There I am at a 4/8 Limit table when I see KK in the hole and the flop comes up KKA. I raise from the button and I get two callers, one of which was all in for his last $6 bucks. He flips over his AA hole cards and I about hit the roof. The bad beat was sitting at $242,000 and all I needed was to see the last bullet come up on the turn or the river. It was worth $121,000 to me. I was already thinking of how I was going to spend it when the turn came 6H and the river showed the 2C. I scooped the pot with a frown. The poker gods owe me one.

There I was hoping for the BBJ requirement to be AAAKK+ but the minimum pot requirement not being reached in the hand.

Would've loved it if it happened.

1. Teach the short-stacking scumbags a lesson on not to sit at a poker table with fukking 6 bucks, and why they should be doing something more productive with their lives.

2. Teach Poker players why they shouldn't be playing fukking LIMIT poker.

3. And also that they need to be doing something more productive with their lives, and not scuming away their lives at the micro stakes tables.

guy did NOT hit a one outer on me - OMG WHAT A SICK BEAT LMFAO

as for truly sick beats, i somehow remember a 2+2 thread from back in the day when a guy had quads and the board changed on the river so that a guy who had a straight flush before the river now hit an even better straight flush, but he could only use one of his whole cards for said straight flush. gg $300k bad beat jackpot (only pays out if both players use both hole cards) thanks to a one outer on the river.

one time I was playing a some 2/5NL live and this reg raised it to the standard 10x preflop. He was called in 2 places. The whole table was about 500bb deep ($2500). The bad beat was pretty high too, but I don't remember an exact number.

Anyways, called in 2 places, flop comes A2Jr, of course gets it all-in. Up against 22.

Set over set is a cooler, but then the deuces spike their deuce. River is a brick.

Not a big deal... normal hand really. Set over set and then an unlikely hit. That is what it is... not a big deal.

Then the dealer checks the next card and it was the case ace.

She goes "oh my god, look how close we were?"

The guy's face just goes freakin green and he leaves.
