So recently I had some donkament run good at my local casino, Horseshoe Hammond. They had a mini warm up Series for the Chicago poker classic and I decided to play event 1 which was $210. Out of roughly 480 people I ended up making it to the FT and finishing in 9th on a coin flip which netted me ~$1,400
And a free seat to the main event the following weekend which was a $680 tourney.

I ended up making the FT again and when it was down to 2 of us, we decided to split the remaining $80K evenly and play for the WSOP ME seat which was rewarded to 1st. 5 mins into the heads up match I pushed with K10 after a 3 bet by my opponent and ran into AA which I busted with a 10 on the flop and 10 on the turn.

The cash was sweet but getting a seat to the ME was even better because that has been on my bucket list for well over 10 years.

Hopefully I get some run good this summer and get more out of my original $210 investment.

Haha thanks and even if he's right I don't care if I did waste my run good on this tourney, since I haven't played many tournaments in the last year, this win still feels good

Also if you read the post most of the run good was wasted in the $680 ME that I took 1st in out of ~380 runners
