OP, high stakes? in HS you lose way more than 14K before stabbing of the ankle occurs.

This is so sick.. but what i dont get is if you play high stakes, why would a 14k d/s make you go so nuts? If you play 10/20 which is considered the first "high stakes" limit (seems most people consider 1KNL to be mid/small high stakes), thats only 7 BIs.. so wtf?

lol wasn't supposed to be a HS brag... but alot of this is limit and i play probably just a notch below the REALLY big players (games higher than 1 2 [which ive played] rarely run often)
im sorry if losing 14,000 in a few thousand hands doesn't qualify me as nuts

OP, you've inspired me to stop lurking and make my first post. I can sympathize with the anger. I play MUCH lower stakes than you do, and I've had my moments of desk-pounding, pen throwing, and I punched a hole in my door once - luckily no stabbing yet.
I recently created a written, one-paragraph mantra that I read before and after each session, about how I have to keep my cool or I need to stop playing. It has really helped me to absorb bat beats easier. I would suggest that you try it, even though it sounds dumb.
Best of luck, and I hope your chart starts going in the other direction.
