I suspect villain was willing to call more than 1/7 the size of the pot at the end there.

1. what range of hands do you put villain on to flat call all the way?
2. How large a river bet do you think villain would call with Ax?

If this is a real question, you gain more value from value betting the 9 billion hand combinations with an Ace than you protect by blocking betting the 25~ hand combinations of 86, 77 and AA.

Uh, if you think there's billions of hand combinations in regards to HE hole cards, you might want to go back to playing play chips yourself. You are off by a considerable amount of zeroes.
