Villain is very loose and erratic. I've seen him three barrel with air and float flop-raise turn or river with air. He's called me down very light a couple times and seems pretty showdown heavy in general. Preflop he's probably 3-betting 35% of the time or so.
5 handed 30 game. New player is posting between button and SB.
I open QsTc from co, Villain 3-bets from button, 3 folds, I call.
Flop: As Qd 6d
I c/r, he calls
Turn: Jc
Bet, Call
River: Jh
Check...
--- Is the flop c/r good? I have a small equity edge but being oop might negate that.
--- Pretty sure, as played, I should have bet river.
I like the check if you are gonna call. I hate the check if you are going to fold.
Betting the river and getting raised would suck.
Betting the river and folding out a better hand doesn't seem like its gonna happen against the opponent.
Betting the river for value seems a little thin.
As played I think an underpair is going to be there much more often than an A or a J. It seems to me that a value bet on the river will be fine vs this guy. Vs me you will lose every time.
against this guy i dislike the flop play unless you are doing it specifically to induce a turn bluff from him. overall i think you're better off just letting him barrel.
I dont like the flop c/r as he throws away his bad hands and calls with his good. Id rather let him take the lead and have his ******ed aggression take over where he leads everything. So id prolly just c/c down the whole way with this hand.
