I'm trying to make sure I understand this correctly.

Lets say a good TAG opens UTG 9 handed. Give him top 10%. I realize there are different flavors of TAG's. Just assume he is a solid winner not necessarily a workd beater.

Lets say I am in the BB and defend this range...any pair, any suited Ace, K9s+ Q9s+J9s+ 78s+ QJo+ KJo+ATo+ I'm flatting whole range.

The flop comes 753r and I have 44.

My hand has 60% equity vs his range. Range vs range he has a 53 to 47 advantage.

Does this mean I should slot this hand into my check/call range? Or still CR?

What if the flop was 7c5c3s and we had Jc9c? Check/call or CR? Maybe we call our A high and K high flush draws and CR the rest. Do we now CR the 22's?

Fill free to comment on my pre flop range if there is something you would do differently.

I would generally defend a bit wider than you preflop. I think there's no reason to check raise 44 here or 22 in the second hand. But I think you have the right idea as far as check raising flush draws with less showdown value.

Check raising hands with no showdown value vs a top 10% range will generally not end well.

I'm. It saying never do it but if Utg actually has a tight range like ATs+, KQs+, 77+ your gonna just have to make your flush (and then you get 2 bets in on big street also).

I think there are quite a few board runouts where it will be hard for him to show down ace high. And if we never bluff then our check raising range is too strong. I think it makes sense to bluff with hands like jack high flush draws that are going to have to see a river anyway but can't win at showdown unimproved.

In spots where range on range the villain has the advantage is it better to delay more hands to the turn? Attack the flop more when it hits our range? Do you mix it up?

I agree that indiscriminately check-raising and barreling off every hand with no showdown value is a losing strategy, but I also agree that there are some boards where ace high can't show down comfortably (and you have some fake outs). 753cc seems like one of those boards.
