Does anyone have a recommendation for a poker tracking app that works well for reviewing FLHE win rates specifically? Interested to see if there is any particular most popular app or method among fixed limit players.

OpenOffice.org is a free alternative for excel spreadsheets, and word.

With these spreadsheets are you able to calculate reports based on location or time of day? Are these factors important in determining the time and location of your sessions in order to be in games where you have the greatest edge?

Getting a statistically significant pile of data is difficult when playing live. Slicing that data in half, let alone more finely, will only confuse the previous issue.

You absolutely should track session duration and results. Along with location, game, and stakes ldo. Tracking start and end times is easy but dont chase that rabbit down the data analysis hole.

Instead, spend time learning sopid strategy and look for games that doesnt have it! Then you'll recognize and capitalize on good games.

I also use notepad and excel. I don't record specific times, just date and location, but you should develop an intuitive feel for when the game is most profitable long before you accumulate enough numerical data to figure it out.
