You're doing it very wrong if there is a female involved. Unless she's really. really, really hot.

Button is a very very active and imaginative winning lag. Villain is about 55k deep, button is about 25k deep, I cover. Here's a previous hand that villain played that happened to be against the same player that's on the button now:

Preflop:
Fold to villain who opens for 90 (10/20 blinds at that time) in the co, button calls on the button. They're about 30k deep.

Flop:963
Button calls about 180

Turn: 9634
Villain bets 500, button raises to 1500, villain tanks and calls.

River: 96345
Villain bets out for 10k (yes 10k into less than 4k). Button thinks briefly and folds and tells me he had 43 later. Villain shows black 77 for the straight. Now on to my hand:

I open after 1 fold to 140 with K8, villain calls in the cutoff, button calls, straddle calls.

Flop: JTT (pot $580)
We all check to button who bets $320, straddle folds, I call fairly quickly, villain calls without hesitation.

Turn: JTTQ (pot $1540)
I check, villain bets out 5k, button instafolds and now it's on me and I have a K hi flush facing a 5k bet with a lot of money left to bet.

The results are absolutely disgusting but that's all I will say for now.
So gross because flushes are kinda good hands. But really just fold.

Sorry, I forgot I was posting in a forum for poker players who only care about themselves and are very selfish and greedy. My bad.

I'd honestly imagine that having to go see Sex in the City movie is very much the IRL version of the Married with Children episode where Al and Jefferson had to go with Peggy and Marcy to see the Jeffersons "Moving on Up" tour live.

In short, theres some chick flicks I've had to see, but I'd slit my wrists before ever going to see the Sex in the City movie. The television show at 30 minutes is godawful. 2 hours in a Sex in the City movie would be utter death.

Unless its the adult entertainment version. In which case hopefully 10 minutes would be enough.

I was subjected to The Back-up Plan a few months ago. She is now my ex-girlfriend.

the key is in timing your breaks. do not go to the concession stand before the movie starts because you want to at least get in two trips to the concession stand and two trips to the restroom. you can also try getting someone to call you while in the movie and say its an important call you have to take.

howmany if you had bought in for like 20k were you going to stack off?

I can't imagine ever needing 1000bb in a game, although in my experience in these types of games the extra 600bb or so never comes into play anyways. If you really wanted to stack him with those stacks you're better off bumping the game up to like 20/40/80 or straight 50/100

we had been playing 10/20/40/80 earlier in the night. playing higher is frowned upon in this casino so i had to work with what i had. judging by his play in this hand it should be surprisingly "easy" to felt him for 55k.

and i snap fold 20k deep also. if were less deep than that he probably plays it completely different (and i might too) so it doesnt matter what id do.

It is certainly hard to imagine but becomes easier when a guy starts betting 300% pot. LOL

Made it to 2nd break of day 2 in $1,500 Omaha. $11,700, ave. $19k. 189 left, pays 81. Blinds 500/1k. 1k/2k bets. Huck Seed on my right giving free lessons.

No, it didn't. But if you can respond to a post this old, you can find the reasons I laid out for this not being true.

If Roy (who everyone seems to think is a huge nit) bets out into the guy who is obviously on a draw when THAT card comes, is he really getting raised by a small flush or T7? I don't think so.
maybe or maybe not. at least he is getting 1 bet.

Roy's check here is not nearly as bad as many seem to think it is, and is not nearly as bad as JT's check.
JT's check on the river? what do you think is wrong with that?

67th for $3,101. I had between 1-6 big blinds the last three hours before bubble. At one point Huck Seed raised in EP with blinds at 1,500, I call allin for 1,300 in mp with KcKsAc9s, a high only hand and scooped 4400 chip pot. Huck told me he would have done same. I'm also greatful to Huck for one piece of advice. After I 3 bet him with a worse A3, he sweetly said, "what were you thinking?".

I took it to heart, and played much better. Thanks Huck.
