In several thousands of hours of live texas hold them I have never seen a flop rescinded.

Not counting the times when the Oaks dealers are too busy talking to notice everyone folded preflop and deal out a flop?

Hero is BB with AA
7 folds, BTN limps, SB completes, Hero raises, BTN folds, SB folds. BTN's and SB's chips are intermingled so at a glance it appears there are 2 to the flop for 2 bets each.
Flop: A33
Hero bets to see how long it takes for dealer to notice.

i wonder how currency backed by something like gold works. the value of gold increases over time, does this mean a bill thats backed by gold increases over time?

lets assume gold is worth $1000/oz nowadays and gold was worth $50/oz about 80yrs ago. so a $50 bill 80yrs ago backed by gold would be worth an oz of gold. so over time since the printing of that bill, does that bills value increase to $1000?

or is the bill only worth the same amount of gold it was printed at so a $50 bill backed by gold from 80yrs ago would still only be worth $50 of gold today if you could trade it in making the value of the bill worth less today than it did back then.

No. The bill's denomination is its denomination. Being backed just means that we have $X in gold, so we can put out $X in paper money. Theoretically you could cash in the paper money for the equivalent amount of gold/silver at the time. But I'm not sure anyone was really ever allowed to do this.

Amazing, I've seen it 4 or 5 times.
I've also seen 5 aces in the deck once and 5 kings another time.
I've seen a pot pushed to the loser and completely stacked before anyone said anything.

and here's a strange one, I've had such compassion on 3 players that I've informed them of their massive tells. Just last night this guy was buried many racks and everytime he raised with a big hand he would turn his head away from the table in a weak means strong way. So around 4am he raises with KK and everyone folds, and he says "I'm gonna stop raising these big pairs" and so I said "Let me give you a little secrect..."

thats ok the next flop will be better to actually get action taking down a 2 bet pot is no fun.

they both folded preflop. there was no reason for a flop.

Whats my/your winrate in the Bellagio 15/30 vs the 30/60?

How about Commerce 20/40 vs 40/80?

If you know my game feel free to estimate for me otherwise just use yourself if you play these games.

I was thinking about this after playing 15 all weekend instead of sitting in the 30 with Bakku, DaveR, and Chris.
I've run like Shiva through the Bellagio 30. I'll play it i. preference to the 15, which I also beat.

One of the thi gs I like about the Bellagio 30 is thst I am almost always playing against familiar faces from home, as well as the locals and tourists. I feel lime this gives me a leg up, knowing some of the opposition. I remember one night playing a short game that was all Oaks regulars.

what I'm trying to estimate is how much money I'm costing myself playing the 15 instead of the 30

My guess is that it is somewhere between 10 and 15 dollars/hr.

Keep in mind your hourly rate is probably less affected by drink at the 15 than at the 30 so this should be factored in as well.

In limited data set I am a $500 or so dollar/hour loser in the B 30 and a small winner in the 15.

Someone I respect said it's more than I think, which made me think.

I've been meanin' to mention that you need to play the 30 in the morning and the 15 at night.

Is the Bellagio 30 particularly good in the morning? Why?

(What does "morning" mean here, 3AM or 9AM?)

It's not especially good in the morning. I am, however, generally sober at 9AM. I can't ever stay awake until 3AM Vegas time so I don't have a clue how the game plays at that hour.

id say probably 95% of people i havent seen in years i had dreams about were either ex-girlfriends or girls i once found attractive. occassionaly some old friends i havent seen in a while will squeeze in there. i havent talked to my cousin for years and he really hasnt crossed my mind at all so i found it a really unusual coincidence.

The question is, did you remember him being in the dream before or after the FB contact?

lol. so i get to commerce at 1030am yest and start playing. at about 430am this morning (so 18 hrs) i go to the front desk and ask them if i can get a room now or if i have to wait till 7, she tells me i have to wait till 7, thats fine with me i wasnt planning to quit yet i just wanted to see if i could get the room now. i continue playing until about 9am. same woman is at the front desk. she tells me the hotel is booked. she suggests i wait until 11 or 12 to see if some1 checks out. i suggest that she is a ****ing idiot and that maybe 5 hours ago when i asked her about getting a room maybe she should have told me the hotel is ****ing booked (which is obviously bull**** anyway on a random wednesday in spring) instead of telling me to wait for 7am. i drive home absolutely livid after an incredibly long and frustrating session and here i am to complain.
