Marco makes some great pizza, which is a very good thing, as he would starve if he had to rely on his poker skills. I Marco.

The hand in question: Like Hank said, I three bet this turn all day long.

"Marco calling" seems as automatic as "dealer burns and turns".
During the "Neal game" on Sat night, someone was giving Marco crap for calling when he hit an under-set (I think it was 444) on the river when he was dragging a monster pot. Marco replies in time, "you know I'm a calling station, that is what I do" and the table errupts in laughter.

Jesse, you're about as animal as a veggie soy patty. Even if braces turned his hand up as QJ it wouldn't be that bad to 3-bet with 2 other opponents funneling dead money into the pot and you having a 23% chance to improve.

23% assuming they all have underpairs?

There are two opponents here to be worried about having some of our outs. Clearly the case Ace may not be live, which would reduce our percentage to 21. But surely we can expect to see J9 and spade draws among the two villains' hands.

This go animal (from a couple weeks ago)

I was the pfr with AK. Flop is KTx. There is some flop action probably involving half the table and I still have the lead. Turn pairs the T, I bet and am raised (maybe c/r'ed) by Gordon the prop and I insta three bets. That go animal.

Isn't there some requirement that you play the hand well? You're lucky if Gordon doesn't have a freaking boat there....He's my favorite prop.

i think this is the most animal part of your post. marco is godawful and one of the fishiest regulars at bay101 (but fwiw i've only played one session with him)

Perhaps Marco just hates me. He once raise/capped A J preflop against me (I 3-bet AKo from the button and was consequently owned into idiocy because I'm like "Marco 4-bet, Marco has big pair!" and a queen flopped). He's also check/raised me with one pair on the turn and tends to pick on my blinds (perhaps because I ALWAYS have position on him).

I think he thinks I'm a lunatic. Believe it or not, this is a fairly common conception among the regulars, despite my nittery.

I've honestly seen lineups where I think he's break even.

nice ownage. Gordon did once tell me, after a hand, that he had 3-bet me with J7 from the small blind because "you were getting a little too active over there". He did successfully get me to lay down Q9s when the flop came A83-K on the hand, so good on him I suppose.
