Last night I raised AQ and got called by the BB and maybe some other cockroaches.
Flop AK2. He c/c.
Turn T. He c/c
River 9. He stares at the card for a while and checks. I start to get concerned about A9/K9 but I'd hate myself in the morning if I didn't value bet, so I bet. He sighs and calls. I show, he looks at my hand, squints at the board, then rolls A9.
Oh also it turned out my A
Q
was no good on the Q
J
T

turn. Not because the villain had a 9, but because he had K
2
and I failed to improve on the river. I lost a grand total of 1.5 BBs post flop in this hand.
