Did I play this wrong? Or correctly?

Button opens.

I call in the BB with Ts7d.

Flop is Js7c9s.

Check, bet, call.

Turn is 8s.

Bet, raise, call.

River is Td.

Check, bet, call.

Don't post results.

Turn looks fine; I prefer check raising

I think you played it fine other than maybe an argument could be made for x/r turn. River is a call because we chop with some Tx hands and beat a few other 2 pair combos.

We're actually only calling for a chop. But we still should call.

It would probably be semi helpful if we knew anything about the villain. Turn is a must donk against some

Also this thread would be more fun is you just cut to the chase and told us what the spat is about

Nobody likes check/raise the flop?

X/c bc our hand isn't strong enough to raise for value but too strong to bluff. Essentially turning our hand into a semibluff with marginal showdown value.

check call > donk call > check raise, imo.

I really don't like xr the flop, especially vs people w a chk back range.

What are you ccing the flop with if you cr this hand? I haven't thought a lot about how to carve up our range here, but I instinctively feel like this hand just has to be in the cc bucket.

Same, especially since I suspect people w/ a check back range will be checking this flop a lot.

That's not a flop the button won't cbet on. The turn, however, does get checked behind. More influence to c.r the flop and take initiative

Why? Your on the button against a WIDE range of hands.

And how well does that wide BB defend to BTN open range do on this texture?

A lot of our range hit that board. We also don't have a weak hand. We have a pair, a gutshot and a decent two pair out we can still value bet on the river.

It's not that you won't usually be betting as button, its just that it'd also be good to xb a decent amount on this board.
