these stakes 3-6 + have a few refs waiting for action daily.

I decided to take a shot hu with my entire bankroll so that I can either move up or grind my way back up if I lose with my reserve rakeback balance.

In this hand I have A9 suited I've been playing preety tight but at the same time making moves in good spots. The villain raises almost every hand and seems to call down with any over card to the flop.

Villain has K9

I raise on the button villain calls. Flop is 388

I bet after being checked to, villain raises I reraise. Villain calls I bet again villain calls on a 6 on the turn.

River comes a king and villain checks I have 6$ left go all in.

River comes king.

Did I play this bad or did the villain play bad or was this just a cooler that we both played ok?

You both played this bad. What is he trying to do with flop xr? More importantly, what are you trying to do with a 3 bet? How are you playing an 8 when faced with a xr from villain?

I wouldn't go as far as to call A hi vs K hi a cooler

First thank you for replies

I forgot to mention that villain has already shown that she or he can bluff xr with atc and in the hand before this called down with 83 and spiked a 3 on river against my ak after xr flop where I flat call. Before this I saw a lot of aggression with atc and inability to fold k hi

I was able to get value with under pairs and better aces than her / he

The villain is a reg always sitting at hu and I've watched as villain is a calling station and or Donk aggression

I'm going to reraise an 8 against villain because villain doesn't fold

I think I played this bad maybe just let it go after the xr flop but not sure what to do against maniac type opponents

Should I just be waiting for better spots where I always have a pair? I feel I'm getting ran over

Based on the hand history alone: unclear if you or villain played the hand good or bad.

Based on everything you've written in this thread: you cannot beat anyone at heads up Lhe.

I'd bet call the flop and evaluate the turn. Probably calling down unimproved Cus you said the guy was overaggressive.

When? Flop? Turn? If villain is FOS, why don't you call them down? Are you trying to make them fold bluffs? Or are you just spite 3 betting?

Kind of surprising, but Cepheus x/r's K9 at a significantly higher than 0 frequency on 883r. It x/r K9s w/ BDFD 100%.

It seems to always call w/ A9 against the check raise.

How often does Cepheus call those hands preflop?

Touche. Turns out that that decision point is a non-thing for Cepheus, since K9s is a 100% 3 bet for it.

K9o is 61.75% call. It seems to check raise this hand on this board around 7%-15% (not sure why it chooses different frequencies with different versions).

Not that surprising if you've studied its game at all :P

Most important part of your post was taking ur whole roll to play Russians that have big edge on you likely at the 3/6-5/10 on ACR.

There is sporadic action on ACR across all limits and it would make more sense to play at ignition/bovada where you can find consistent action at stakes that would allow you to grow your BR without having to take a shot at ROW huhu players. ACR had a nice promo recently and its worth keeping money on there bc they do have games sometimes, but Ignition pretty much always has games.

I agree. Maybe if you thought you had an edge and with the condition that you could replenish your roll then this would be ok. Without both conditions being true it's most likely a big mistake.

I agree with the replies and have since played on both sites and have had some success against these Russians

It is mostly wrong of me to be playing this aggressive style with no bankroll but the games r good and hard to resist.

I'm focusing on plo8 and stud games now too since the players are somewhat worse and the variance is reasonable compared to flhe and hu in general

I am going to keep building my roll so I can stomp the Russians eventually at flhe

Actually flop 3 bet is standard since you started the hand with 4BB.
