By this I mean that Bob & Jim's book was written for a different time. The Lee Jone's book was for beginners in a really different era of soft games. Etc.

Buy this. Realize that some of the more passive advice is dated, unless you're playing in amazingly soft games -- so if the book says to open limp in spots, question that advice. Don't have a copy, but people have quoted such advice on the forum.
