+1. AK and 99 may also be betting 3 streets for value. With 24 combos of 99-TT, AK and 17 combos of JJ-AA you have to get to showdown.

My main motivation for posting is that I find hands interesting btw and laydowns is a topic worth discussing, especially given that each opponent is different, every hand is a special snowflake, etc. etc. Semibluffing is also woth discussing. Gto is worth discussing, etc. Etc.

I am starting to think poker coaches are overpaid though.

Dunning–Kruger effect
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias wherein persons of low ability suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly assessing their ability as greater than it is. The cognitive bias of illusory superiority derives from the metacognitive inability of low-ability people to recognize their ineptitude, without which they cannot accurately evaluate their actual competence.

As described by David Dunning and Justin Kruger, the cognitive bias of illusory superiority results from an internal illusion in people of low ability and from external misperception in people of high ability: "The miscalibration of the incompetent stems from an error about the self, whereas the miscalibration of the highly competent stems from an error about others." Hence the analogous corollary to the Dunning–Kruger effect indicates that persons of high-ability underestimate their relative competence, erroneously presuming that tasks that are easy for them to perform are easy for other people too.

Leaves is clearly a troll and a bad poker player. He significantly worsens the quality of this forum and I am loathe that he posts advice in other threads and that others might listen to him.

He reminds me a lot of Puckster.

Not worth putting in 5 units to win 18 given the read.

Also, it's better long-term EV to merely do the analysis yourself and develop tools, imhe.

Pretty much this. Though it's not necessarily the easiest task to put a % on a read, and be both confident and correct.

Basically this. I mean, I don't think it's all that uncommon. Though it is a task to accurately come-up w/ ranges based on the information, and make a decision.

Yes therE exist people you can probably fold the turn to, but like PV said there is no point to a thread on how to play vs them.

Against any anonymous player to the rest of the forum it's easy call down

^Agree.

It is a bit silly to post this hand and then argue with pros who play like the highest limits in the world

In that respect it is not that different than the "I Put In a Luxury ..." thread, which I thought was a good thread.

Here's the thing though, I am not asking if heros read is correct. I am asking about how to incorporate the hero's read into the mechanics in the game which is why I gave parameters to the heros read. Of course I can just do this analysis myself. Many of the posts itt were poor quality. I want a refund.

If you're super sure of your read, then fold flop.
If you're sure of your read, then fold turn or river.
If not that sure, call down.

That's been what everyone in this thread has been saying

Laughter is part of poker, imho. But in all seriousness I am considered funny but the acronym is co-incidental.
