Of course; but that is the only way the player is supposed to get a new card anyway. The flop NEVER changes because of exposed cards, period. Either you keep the same flop, or you have a misdeal. So there is no point in learning any precedent here.

Epic story. The way I read the post is that the cards were flipped by the player. He folded, and play continued, and somehow he gets his hand back. Very unusual ruling. Cardrooms have the final say when it comes to rulings, which enable floors to make subpar rulings.
