Ended up +300 after a 12 hour session.

Favorite hand:
CO limps, BTN limps, I complete SB and BB checks
Q42ddh, I bet, co raises, btn calls and I call.
Turn 8h, I c/r and both call.
River black ace, I bet, CO folds, btn tanks, mumbles a bit about AQ, finally calls and says "you're good".

I flip Q8 and he flips A4.

There was this one time years ago when I was sitting 15/30 at the B, and a guy I knew from Colorado stops by the table and starts laughing. He asks, "Why are all you guys playing together?" Turns out that 7of us were from CO. If I meet you in person in Vegas, it will be like that.

The problem with buying a ticket is that I'd have to sit on a plane for 3.5 hours. While I'm pleased to report progress in the healing of those three compression fractures, I'm not ready to tackle sitting in a confined space for that amount of time.

DC videos were fantastic. I've always credited the videos they produced around that time as being one of my biggest reasons for making it as a poker player. The 'I has a pear' series was one of the best limit things ever produced imo

No **** but I used to play DD videos on the third monitor when I used to grind because DD's soothing voice and wise wisdom helped curb the boredom tilt and keep me focused. It's harder to do stupid things when you picture DD looking over your shoulder tsk tsk'ing everything you do wrong
