Sorry of none of this is interesting to anybody, but it's interesting to me because I am awful at poker and if I don't turn it around soon I'm gonna have to like get a job and stuff and that will just be all kinds of horrible.

It's a 2/3 blind structure and you are the small blind. Some ****** has open limped in LP. Do you call with any two? What about 2 ******s? If you fold any hands, what are they?

8:1 I call any two.

Heck, 32s against AA you have odds to call. 32o you're losing money against AA (barely).

Of course you are out of position but I'm assuming oppenents are horrible postflop so we don't have to worry about losing value there...

How do you expect to win a pot if you fold???? 9:1 is good enough for me with ATC but 12:1 is even better.

I think ability of the BB is an important part. If he's a loose-passive ****** too, then I limp ATC. If he's a good player and realizes you and the other guy basically have crap and is raising a lot of cards, I'm mucking some of the worst cards in my range.

Can you enumerate? Like any off suit hand of more than 3 gaps with a 2-4 and no paint?

Jesse, I fold the worst of my range (29o, etc), because I'd rather lower my variance and avoid playing crap like 73o on a K76 flop. I don't have any complaints about players who DO call ATC, since it's mathematically correct, but it's NOT a *huge* mistake to fold your complete junk.

If I played more regularly (I just don't get to play live LHE very often), I might feel so comfortable with my game that I'd go with the ATC strategy. And if you do, you should. But don't let anyone tell you you're "making a mistake" by not doing so, because your reverse implied odds are pretty crummy with most of it, and you really need to play expertly postflop in a lot of annoying situations to make it profitable.

How about the Big Blind?
Nothing is more annoying than a big blind that raises too often.
The best seat is to the right of a big blind that NEVER raises.

I echo most everyone here. If the BB raises even a decent portion of his range, this would be a fold, but it isn't a horrible mistake to throw in one chip and then have to muck when the BB raises. But I still don't like playing our 5-10% worst hands here, but I may just for fun.
