You're talking about winning about 1/2 of a BB/HR less than a Bellagio reg would if everything else were the same.
Worth it? That depends so much on your needs/explanations that it is hard to answer. The 30/60 here has a 50/100 kill and only $7 rake. That is a harsh rake structure in a generally not-that-tough field. The game you're talking about is smaller with more rake.
What other live games have you crushed, recently and over a good sample?
Yeah, a game with that kind of rake really does not sound interesting at all then. Thanks for the perspective.
However, there is another casino in the same are offering limit with a 5% rake up to $5, that sounds much more reasonable to me.
I have not crushed many lived games so far, simply because they don't exist where I live. I played almost 2 million hands online from 0.25/0.50 to 2/4 and am winning a little under 1BB/100.
I have played live for 2 days in California and for a week in Vegas but could not play higher than 4/8 back then. I had good success at the live games and am reasonably certain that I will be a long term winner in them.

If you drive up north to port perry there's 5% up to 5 dollars. Usually they have 10/20 and sometimes a 15/30 holdem. There's a lot of 20/40 omaha hi as well.
If you drive west to brantford they have 20/40 hold'em I think it's 7/halfhour session fee.
Perfect, thank you for the suggestion. I was originally talking about the games in Brantfort, are your certain that they still do the time charge?
I read in the Toronto thread that they switched to said rake a few months back.
The Blue Heron casino up north indeed looks great, 5% rake up to $5 is pretty good imo. Looks like I will move very close to that place then
In case Brantford still charges $7/half hour, how good/bad of a rake would that be, I never played with a time charge before...
