Should I donk out now ?

20 game, opponent is a LAG who is overly aggressive IMO and also extremely SD bound. We play quite a lot together; he views me as a LAG too , as far as I can tell but in fact my ranges are usually tighter/stronger than he thinks they are. His BTN open range is almost ATC. Overall, he is a decent thinking player but def. not top of the line LAG.
BTN opens hero 3! KJo in SB, fold, call
Flop 8d9dTc hero bets BTN calls
Turn Ts hero check calls
River Qs

Is there a clear cut no brainer line here, or it still depends?

Donk. It is a crime to hit your draw and watch it check through.

in hands where the preflop/flop/turn action goes like it went in this hand doesn't the villain bet the river near 100% (this is my gut, curious what others thoughts about this are) .... and now you throw in that this villain is supposed to be a bad LAG

If as the villain i had a hand with some sd value (e.g. A9) that could easily be crushed i would chk behind and laugh and make fun of the hero for hitting and not betting. If hero called the turn, that could easily be a good river card for him. If I as villain had completely missed i may b/f behind a river chk. The? Is with A9 will i call a donk bet on river....

I think hero has to bet if he thinks villain is sd bound...

What do we accomplish by betting turn? Is it for value or as bluff? Do we like being raised here (which will happen more often than not)?

i look at it as a semi bluff you just might get a fold
especially if your table image is as described
plus if the straight hits you disguise it a little more i think
just my 2 cents

and will he raise you knowing that you knew the bet would generate a raise so that must mean strength and your part

what (better) hands will aggressive, SD bound villain fold on this board if we bet turn, after he already called flop ?

Re: Should I donk out now ?

I'm on the fence with the check call ott. I think it's ok with king high - but if you had AJ I wouldn't like it all.

oh and btw yes I would donk here otr. That Q although it hits him somewhat is somewhat of a scare card and even though he's a bit of a lag-tard meh I can still see it get checked through.
