I raise AJ utg, Chris Ferguson wanna be 3 bets me on the button.

Quick Description. Looks like Chris Ferguson, plays tight and decent from what I could tell, def tries to play well (although might be a newb) and even takes notes on a little piece of paper that he keeps in his pocket.


Anyways, Flop is A6J rainbow. I check he bets, I raise, he just calls. I got a feeling he was raising the turn which I was obviously cool with.

Turn was an 8 (A6J), putting two hearts on the board (other is the ace*). I bet and he just calls. I think maybe I was wrong and he is calling down with QQ or KK. Obv Im cool with that also.

River is a 7 of hearts (A6J87hhh). I bet, he raises and I have my 3 bet down before he finishes cutting off his raise. He looked rather surprised and ended up paying me off with what I assume was AK.

I wouldn't say I ruined his life but you could just tell it bothered him for at least an hour that he got 3 bet on the river by the 37th nuts (just a random guess).


I know for a split second he felt so proud raising the river and either trapping me until the end or raising when the board got scary enough that he wouldn't be 3 bet when behind. Oh well.
