note my edits though..
i remembered i didn't bet the river b/c BB jumped out of his chair when i checked the river.

Re: post a hand where you ruin someone's life
Garden City 6-12:
EP raises, 5 cold-callers (LOL), I call 7 4 in BB.
Flop is K K 6 . I check, EP bets, EVERYONE folds back to me! (wtf?), I call.
Turn is 9 . I check, EP bets, I checkraise, EP thinks for a while and calls.
River is 3 . I bet, EP thinks for a long time and folds.
Old Asian lady next to me says "ni han". I show my hand and she says "po-FESH-enaaaa!"

Re: post a hand where you ruin someone's life
40 game in like april or may probably
tight guy raises lp i 3bet KsQs in sb he calls
flop 258 two diamonds one spade i bet he raises i call
turn 3 spade check check
river 7 diamond i bet/3bet and show when he folds
might have the board/action completely wrong i just know i bet/3bet someone with KQ when they obviously had me beat on the river and i showed it
there have been a couple where im fairly sure i scarred them for life after showing my hand but they dont come to mind right now, though i do remember a badugi hand i saw someone play that sent 3 of the 4 players in the hand straight to a rape trauma center

Re: post a hand where you ruin someone's life
Ruined life\slow roll\life tilt. Superjuiced 40 game, 3bets to me with 8 callers and i cap 33 doublesuited black on BB. Flop is all rags but all red i bet and get 5 folds out of it (!!!!), Turn is a red rag putting two flash draws out and i bet again and this time get only one fold. River is black card keeping the final board 9 high and bet again. UTG thinks and folds and now button goes into a tank and thinks for maybe a minute. Button is a regular in the game and a friend, solid player who is fully aware of my LAGy game. After thinking for a while he calls and i was so sure that he has me beat that i said something to the tune "ohh well , nice call, you got it" ( honestly thinking that i am crashed). He tables AhQh, UTG goes ape**** screeming that he folded 7s ....i table my 3s...button stops talking to me for about an hour...

Re: post a hand where you ruin someone's life
Full 40.
It is folded to the button. BB says "we chop". Button gives him a look and raises. Button is a regular who thinks he can play. I look at K T in SB and 3 town. BB folds, button calls.
The flop is 3 4 5 Bingo!
I bet/3bet. He calls.
The turn is T to add insult to injury.
I bet/3bet, he 4bets and looks confident! I start seeing monsters under the bed and just call.
The river is a brick. I check call. He proudly displays 53o for a flopped 2 pair. Ship it!
He never steals for the rest of the session.

Calling down with a monster does NOT equal 'ruining someone's life,' sir. Consult thread, "Post a hand where you chicken out and play like some frigging schoolmarm with a tight grey hairbun."

I suppose you never had a non-nut flush beaten. I rarely see people 4 betting the turn w/out the nuts.

Re: post a hand where you ruin someone's life
OK, I under-extracted. Cross-post in the"hands I played super bad" if you like.
My play was far from perfect but that is not the point.
I still ruined his life.

Re: post a hand where you ruin someone's life
Given that I'm only in Vegas twice a year, I'm surprised that I have history with this player, but I do.
B 15/30 - Villian is a fairly attractive, blonde, built, late 30's lady from Toronto. When I was in town in Nov. I set her up with a huge bluff early in the evening only to have her wiggle off the hook the rest of the night catching on the river to take down every single hand I was way in front on. She singly decimated my stack that evening. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago. She doesn't remember me and I'm on a mission to get all my money back. I've taken down three hands off of her showing quality cards that hit the flop reasonably well.
3 limps (including Blondie) to me in LP and I raise black K,K. I buy the button and BB and all limpers call. Flop is K,Q,5 - Bingo! K,Q is definetely in her range of limping hands. Checks to Blondie who bets and I raise, clears out all but 1 of the others, Blondie calls. Turn is a 2. Checks to Blondie, who bets and I raise. Only Blondie calls. River is an 8. Blondie checks, I bet, Blondie raises, I 3-bet, Blondie calls. Upon seeing my set of Kings she forecefully mucks and begins the diatribe of "How unlucky she is".
Next hand she plays, she limps and I raise 8,6 suited. Heads up to the flop of A, K,9. Blondie bets and I raise. She thinks and thinks and finally declares as she's mucking - "I can't believe how lucky you are, why can't I hit Big Slick like that". I show my complete bluff/trash and mega-insta-tilt ensues lasting for the next 3 hours.
I've never before enjoyed someone's moaning, complaining and griping for 3 hours before, but that was really fun!

Watch out, apparently having a thread about whether or not people 4-bet the turn without the nuts is liable to be "the worst thread ever."

I suppose if he really didn't steal again for the rest of the session, that adds enough pwnage / crushage to the proceedings to count as ruining his life, but it's weird to think of 'calling down with the third nuts' as 'ruining' someone in the spirit of this thread. I apologize to everyone for having a hair up my ass about this. SRS BSNSS.

Re: post a hand where you ruin someone's life
Last night, in the middle of an all night session at 25/50, the table decided to pay a 1 chip prop the anyone who could win with the 'Hustler Special'.
I limp 2d 5d UTG and everyone folds to the spazzy button who limps, good player raises from the SB with AA, BB calls, I call. Now the spazzy button 3-bets, and SB caps. BB and I both call 2 more.
Flop: 4TK with one diamond. SB bet, BB mucks, I call, Button calls.
Turn: diamond.
River: diamond.
Maybe I didn't ruin his life, but he was not happy.
