It isn't 30/60, it is 30/60 with 50/100 kill. It is played with $5 chips, so 1/2 blind structure. You ask, "how could you have a game where you push in a whole stack to make a single preflop raise?" Good question, makes for big pots. Red + green chips. Big pots. On occasion they just fire up a 50/100 game.

Last times I was up there, game fired up mid-morning. Could be tough to get a seat until they get the second game going in the late afternoon.. Newer info would be better. Game is at Ameristar, and they give decent-ish comps. Rake is $5 + $2 BBJ, which means the rake is capped preflop in the 30 game.

So, these one, two, or three big LHE tables. A few 2/5/100 games go. Everywhere around town gets the odd 1/2/100 games. All the spread limit action has unlimited buyins.

Like every other place you've ever played, when there are 3-4 games running its a good game. When it's 1-2 tables, it's also often a good game. Just think of it as a scaled down version of Commerce/Bay 101, without people cursing at the dealers (there have been some bans for that). Bunch of 2+2ers sometimes, we're pretty easily identified as the ones who don't open limp. I'm often there on Fridays and/or Saturdays if you want to give me a "sup bro". Have fun, partake in what's shaping up to be a good ski season. Oh, BTW, Black Hawk is a solid hour from Denver
