yeah it does sound awful. i'm stuck on this position, i'm blank as to how we are supposed to balance our range made up mostly of bluffs and mediocre value hands.

Re: Mos Def
You just kind of hit it...on this river our range is pretty darn weak vs his showdown hands.

88+ if there was no flushdraw on flop

No it isn't. Assuming no fd, how does his turn calling range change to river. He has a pair a lot when he calls airball turn or he is thinking of calling down light.

i count ~29 combo's hitting the river ace for pj and 24 being 88-JJ. i'm assuming he has a few non-pair hands like K9-KJfd, JTfd. around half of his range hits the river ace. i would think if you were betting the river for value, it would be mainly with two-pairs and sets (~20 combos, around 13% of your range). idk but maybe you're supposed to bet some qx hands (~55 total) to balance out the airball hands you have (~11 missed non-pair fd's) or just bluff a lot less. if you include qx hands as bluff catchers, 78% of our range on the river are bluff catchers, which leads me to think checking our whole range is a lot easier to balance. i assume much of my thinking is flawed in some way.

There was a FD on the flop tt means two toned.

Re: Mos Def
Joker has waited to raise top pair hands until the river against me in the past; he is capable of having a pair of queens after he makes smoov on the turn.

Re: Mos Def
So I started using this problem as motivation to start coding up a GTO solver.
Are people interested in discussing this? Using the ranges above I sorted by river hand value and then parameterized the strategy space by using regions of hand values for specific action lines. The a_i's are used to parameterize Jesse's range, b_i's to parameterize Joker's range if Jesse Bets, and c_i's for Joker's range if Jesse checks. As shown I'm assuming a 3-bet cap. K means check, R means raise, E means 3-bet.
Do these sequences of action lines look reasonable?
Code:
[a0,a1) KRF bluff [b0,b1) F [c0,c1) BF bluff
[a1,a2) KF [b1,b2) RF bluff [c1,c2) K
[a2,a3) KC [b2,b3) C [c2,c3) BF
[a3,a4) BF [b3,b4) RF [c3,c4) BC
[a4,a5) BC [b4,b5) RC [c4,c5) BE
[a5,a6) KRC
[a6,a7) BE
