Re: Mos Def

He has few aces in his range, no? Is the flop suited? I'd bet for value here.

Re: Mos Def

I don't actually remember what position he opened, but it was probably like the lowjack. 9.5, what hands would you bet for value? Did you notice I did not specify my holding?

Re: Mos Def

This is a great exercise.

I'm probably too weak to provide input but I'll take a shot just to get discussion going. Please don't flame too hard.

flop C/R: 22+, AK, A[Q74], K[Q74], QX, X7, 76s?, combo draws, flush draws
flop K/C: AJ-A8,A6-A2,JT, 98, ... do we need more?
flop K/F: T9,JX

turn: ???

river K/R bluff: some broken draws
river K/F: K-high and worse
river K/C: A9-2,...
river B/F: QX,AJ-AT,...
river B/C: AK,A7,A6,A4
river K/R: AQ
river B/3: AA,QQ

If you were playing your hand blind (and joker didn't know) you should check raise.

I think it would be nice to know how strong your hand is here, because I assume joker will bet if checked to a majority of the time. I also think that you think he is tricky enough to raise if you bet out. We know that he's capable of folding to a c/r here as well.

If you were looking to value bet the river, I would check and let him bet my hand for me. If you're holding some sort of busted draw here I think you go for the river c/r/f. I don't put something like A5 out of range for him here fwiw.

/2 scotches deep and kinda watching the puppy bowl. This thread made my head hurt a bit

Re: Mos Def

c/f some 7's and worse value hands along with some missed bluffs
c/r two pears and better* and some bluffs
c/c super low frequency with something like a 7, bluff-catchers

as for frequencies, no idea

that's awful. What if he has a weak queen or any pp below it.

Now we lost a ton of value.
