Re: May Low-Content Thread
In Feb when I lost like 200+ bets in a few weeks, my poker roll was under 125 bets for 20/40. I tried to grind the 2/3 game, but quickly lost interest after the 2nd session and decided to nit it up (for me) in the 20 game until I made it back. Goal accomplished and now I can resume K high call downs and after I win 100 more bets I can again start taking unsuccessful shots at 40 games just in time for all the better than breakeven (formerly written as good) players to leave town for the WSOP. Last session I correctly pegged my opponent for quads or air, he had the quads.

Re: May Low-Content Thread
Got tortured in the 20/40 at Oceans yesterday in the beginning. First hand I play, I raise AK in EP, get cold-called and I fire every street of a 4246T rainbow board, only get called on the river by JTo that called the turn, and just called on the river. Then I play pocket 2's in the SB, flop a full house on a 2JJ board. 4-bets 3-ways on the flop, 2-bets 3-ways on the blank turn, and then I have to bet-call the Q river. Other hands were AJ that overcalled the river, and QQ that beat my under full. And then other joyous beats and suckouts that were absurd.
But I eventually got most of it back 9 hours later.

That explains why he didn't notice the flush in PJ's hand. Congrats!

Re: May Low-Content Thread
As a seasoned poker player, DeathDonkey, you should have lots of experience with not getting anywhere near enough sleep. You will have to draw upon that experience for rather a while.
But it's worth it. Congratulations.

the river in hand 1 is mostly likely not a bet for value , its either c/f or c/c depending on villain. standard beats imo.

like hell it's not a bet for value. It might be a b/f but it's definitely a bet.
Edit: Oh wait, hand 1. Still think the bet is fine against some villains.
