Live 20/40 9 handed. Very loose and pretty passive pre flop. I should have a tight image.

UTG..TAG
UTG+1... Bad lag, has a slightly wide 3 bet range pre...prob calling with smaller pairs, weak broadways, mid to small suited connectors, Axs etc. fairly straight forward post. Will keep getting until he meets resistance. Not a good hand reader.
MP...calls everything, sticky post, very straightforward.

UTG opens, UTG+1 calls, MP calls, I call in CO with As7s, BB calls.

7c2h7d...UTG bets, UTG+1 raises, MP folds(probably 83o), I tank for 5 seconds and call, BB folds and UTG calls.

I think UTG 3 bets any pocket pair he has in his range here.

7c2h7d3s....UTG+1 bets, I decide to call. UTG will peel here I'm pretty sure. Hopefully he hits his pair on the river. If the river comes low, UTG+1 will probably bet.

BTW..I think UTG+1 has a made hand here.

I think UTG will be suspicious of my call but will have a tough time laying down a hand like Ak given the size of the pot. It may look like I have a pocket pair to UTG.

What else are you calling cold with Preflop that also calls cold on 772r?

This is like what every fish does with trip 7's/22. Major lolslowplay.

And no, a TAG who can read hands isn't three betting 88+ when someone calls two cold on 772r not closing the action.

3Bet flop. Been in this spot so many times and more often than not UTG will call two more cold with AK,AQ thinking his overs are good, and UTG +1 will four bet allowing you to raise OTT. IMO this is not a spot to slowplay b/c no matter what u do OTF UTG is likely fold OTT regardless.

I love the thread title and the implied suggestion that maybe the fish are doing something right. Maybe. What else would you could call with here? 88-33? Would you ever 3bet those hands? There's a question of how to protect yourself in future pots. Re; how to maximize in this hand, 3bet flop for sure.

The turn is interesting. The fish lol slowplay springs the trap here, but I think you're right that ap, keeping utg in and raising the river is better

How would you play AA if you were the UTG after the raise and call on the flop?

How would you play AK if the action went raise, reraise, back to you on the flop?

If your read is that I am a good TAG and you would expect me to 3 bet my continuing range on this flop, what do you put me on when I just call?

Three betting the flop is better, but as played, we might as well continue to act like we're being sticky with 66 and spring the loltarp on the river.

BTW, mondidig, it's ironic you posted this hand because I had someone lolcoldcall a 5x hand on 755r after I had raised a limper w/ AKs, bet into 3 people and got raised, and he decided to wait until the river as well. Only problem is, I hit my flush and felt tempted to thank him for the wealth transfer.

I'm still curious how you all would play these hands if you were UTG.
